SPRING 2014 MAKEUP TREND - GRAPHIC EYES

Graphic eyes are in this spring and summer. And the most popular eye is the cat eye. Model Twiggy was famous for her cat eye. Here are some simple tricks and products that will help you perfect a wearable cat eye this spring.

• Don’t wear shadow at all, if you want your cat eyes to really pop no eye shadow is needed.
• Make the cat eye head towards the tip of the brow with a soft black pencil (AVON Always On Point Eye Liner) and then use the angle of your bottom lash line as the angle of your cat eye.
• If you make a mistake don’t worry. Use a makeup wipe (AVON Makeup Remover Wipes with Mineral Complex) to clean up any mistakes.
• Even up each eye, with your makeup wipe, if needed.
• Now, it’s time for liquid liner (Extra Lasting Eye Liner) with a very fine tip. Use small strokes to trace your pencil liner. 
• The rest is up to you, but keep your makeup simple so you don’t overpower your bold cat eyes. 

AVON GEL FINISH ENAMEL AND NAIL ART REVIEW

I LOVE 2FERS! Last week I tried out the new AVON Gel Finish Enamel (parfait pink) and I have to say I LOVE it. It went on smooth, dried fast and lasted a little over a week for me. Usually any other polish starts to chip within 2-3 days. I also tried out the AVON Nail Art design strips (mosaic flowers). They worked out well, but I still love Sally Hansen's better. The only con I had was that when filing the nail strip it took forever and it made my tips look a little off...

Today was a pretty good day...it was rather calm and not much chaos. I got a lot of work done and even though I had a lot of it, I was some how refreshed and happy to have killed 3 birds with one stone! I have a lot of chaotic days, working, going to school, juggling being a mom and wife. These crazy days make having peace so much more amazing to know that there is a God that cares for me and knows all. Remember even when you are stressed and about to have a BF, lol...that you will have peace and always remember that all you accomplish is because of our father.

2014 SPRING TREND - PRINTS FOR YOUR BODY TYPE

One of the most wearable trends this spring is prints and they can work for any body shape.

Triangle 
Prints are great for your lower body, try darker colors for those divalicious hips.

Round
Busy prints won’t work well, try vertical stripes or small polka dots

Inverted Triangle
We can wear almost any type of print on our bottom. Wear a solid dark color on top to soften the shoulders.

Hourglass
Lucky you, you are the shape we all strive to become. Avoid those large prints. Other than that you are good to go.

Rectangle
Prints on the bottom will help you create a waistline when worn with a super cute belt.

I am in love with the MARK Step Lively Oxfords. They are super cute and great for spring. It mixes the sporty vibe of this spring's trend with our feminine side, with cute little details such as the satin shoe strings and a metallic trim. So, even though there is a sports trend this spring that doesn't mean we have to loose our feminine side, with baggy, boyish clothes. Sport Luxe is what I would like to call these super cute oxfords. MARK SAVE THE DAY ANTI-ACNE CONCEALER STICK REVIEW

So, I have been using this concealer stick for about two weeks and I have to say it works great. Sorry that the pics below are not the best. I am figuring out my new camera and these came out very blurry, YIKES! This concealer is definitely a 2fer! Not only does it conceal but, it also saves the day with the anti-acne formula. In the first picture I wore no makeup at all and the second picture I wore the concealer with the Mark Tinted Moisturizer. Love, the concealer it's light, oil free and went on smooth. Although the Mark Tinted Moisturizer does not have the right shades as of yet for dark skin tones, like me, it went on smooth.

Button Downs

Black & White

This spring is all about classic looks with a twist. One of my fave trends is the classic white button down. I did a 2fer in this post and paired this button down with a pair of black and white harem pants. Black and white will also be trending this spring. The classic button down can be worn many ways and the great thing about it is you can dress it up or down. I love harem pants and they work particularly great on those with an inverted triangle body shape, like me. I also added a pop of color. How are you styling spring's latest trends this year?

So, today was just a day where I had a SMH moment all day! It was crazy! Sometimes home life tends to affect your work life, which then affects others work environment with negative vibes.
I have to constantly remind myself what God has for me and to have self control. Some days you feel like slapping somebody! LOL so this week's inspiration is perseverance and self control.
